Territory Service Representative – Operations

About the role

The Territory Service Representative – Operations is the on‑ground ambassador for Blue Dart, responsible for ensuring that customer shipments are collected and delivered on time within an assigned territory. The role combines hands‑on handling of parcels with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience while upholding the company’s safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver shipments according to scheduled time windows, ensuring safe handling of all parcels.
• Accurately scan shipments at pickup and delivery points and record COD (cash‑on‑delivery) collections.
• Obtain and verify proof of delivery (POD) in line with Blue Dart’s compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the Shift In‑charge and branch operations team to meet service commitments and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain proper documentation, follow standard operating procedures, and report exceptions promptly.
• Represent the Blue Dart brand professionally during all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
• Willingness to work inbound or outbound shifts as required.
• Physical stamina to handle parcels and spend extended periods on the road.
• Good knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Reliability, punctuality and adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
