Aircraft Cargo Handler

About the role

FedEx is seeking an enthusiastic Aircraft Cargo Handler to join its ramp and ground operations team. In this position you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of packages, ULDs, and vehicles on and off aircraft, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo, vehicles and ULDs from aircraft using belt loaders, cargo carts and other ramp equipment.
• Sort, stack and transport packages while maintaining their integrity and preventing damage.
• Conduct scanning, sorting and security screening of shipments as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment.
• Coordinate with flight crews, loaders and other ground staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in ramp or ground handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good planning, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Operation of ramp equipment such as belt loaders, cargo carts and containers.
• Scanning and sorting of packages.
