Territory Service Representative

About the role

The Territory Service Representative is responsible for end‑to‑end parcel handling within a defined area. This role combines delivery, pickup, sorting and documentation tasks to ensure shipments reach customers accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Unload bags from the vehicle and scan each shipment upon arrival.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting, then out‑scan shipments according to the delivery route.
• Deliver parcels to the exact customer address, obtain electronic acknowledgment via a BYOD device, and update status codes for any undelivered items.
• Collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) amounts and hand them over to the supervisor on the same day.
• Handle undelivered shipments by transferring them to the supervisor and maintaining proper documentation.
• Execute timely pickups following SOPs, verify serviceable locations, count shipments, and record acknowledgments on pickup sheets.
• In‑scan shipments at the office, manage rapid entry, and oversee bagging and loading of canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Maintain appropriate dress code and carry field bags for all delivery points.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Physical stamina for loading, unloading and walking between delivery points.
• Basic numeracy for handling COD amounts and documentation.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and supervisors.

Required skills

• Barcode scanning using handheld devices.
• Operation of BYOD (bring‑your‑own‑device) mobile applications for shipment acknowledgment.
