Territory Sales Manager (TSM) – Senior Manager

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will lead passenger vehicle sales across a pan‑India territory. Reporting to senior leadership, the TSM works closely with dealer principals and sales teams to achieve volume, market‑share and customer‑experience targets while adhering to company policies and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts by dealer and model, using market trends, seasonality and pipeline data.
• Develop and execute ATL/BTL plans, monitor enquiry generation, and improve conversion ratios.
• Manage pipeline and weekly target reviews, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Drive segment‑wise volume targets and market‑share goals for both personal and B2B customers.
• Build relationships with 3‑4 financiers per dealership and promote non‑auto revenue streams such as accessories, extended warranties and AMC.
• Conduct regular dealer visits, resolve issues, allocate resources and ensure implementation of processes like ageing GF/PF and same‑day GF to retail.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, anticipate dealership needs, and coordinate claim settlements with finance teams.
• Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely billing, dispatches and deliveries.

Required profile

• Senior‑manager level experience in passenger‑vehicle sales.
• Proven ability to coordinate with dealer principals, sales teams and financiers.
• Strong background in sales forecasting, pipeline management and market‑share growth.
• Experience managing dealer networks, resolving operational issues and driving profitability.
