Telemarketer – Outbound Sales Calls

About the role

The Telemarketer will work on‑site in Bengaluru, making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce Svvayam’s bespoke pooja room solutions, explain product features and generate interest.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to promote custom pooja room offerings.
• Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales or design team.
• Follow up on inquiries and maintain accurate call records.
• Update customer information in the CRM and meet daily call and conversion targets.
• Respond to basic customer questions and share promotional information.
• Collaborate with team members to improve call scripts and outreach strategies.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and follow‑up.
• Sales skills such as lead qualification, objection handling and basic upselling.
• Comfort with phone‑based work and high call volumes.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or customer‑service training is a plus.
• Previous telemarketing, call‑center or inside‑sales experience preferred.
