Telecom Network Planning Associate - Ethernet Planning

About the role

Gratitude India is looking for a Telecom Network Planning Associate focused on Ethernet planning, based in Hyderabad, Kolkata or Chennai. The role supports enterprise customers through the end-to-end delivery of Ethernet and Fibre services, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful network planning and service activation. Candidates must be comfortable working in 24x7 UK shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and senior stakeholders by call, virtual meeting and written means
• Coordinate engineering visit appointments and installation readiness
• Manage customer expectations, give proactive order updates and handle escalations professionally
• Coordinate with field engineers, planners, delivery teams, service managers and external partners
• Track planning, survey, design, build, commissioning and service activation milestones
• Identify delivery blockers, dependencies and risks, and support order orchestration and delivery assurance
• Take part in customer governance calls and operational reviews, and give business and technical updates to customers and leadership
• Maintain operational tracking, reporting and stakeholder communication

Required profile

• 1-5 years of experience in telecom operations, network planning, Ethernet delivery, fibre planning, service delivery or customer experience management
• Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3); a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or Computer Science is preferred
• Ex-TCS employees are not eligible; PAN and date of birth are mandatory for profile creation

Required skills

• Excellent spoken and written English, strong customer handling and voice support experience
• Understanding of the telecom order lifecycle and Ethernet/Fibre network concepts
• Experience in FTTX/FTTP planning or delivery environments
• MS Excel proficiency for reporting and operational tracking
• Good-to-have: OSS/BSS systems, network inventory tools, provisioning and assurance processes, and experience with UK, European or global operators
