Technology Services Engineer (TS Engineer) – Ahmedabad

About the role

The Technology Services Engineer will join Qatar Airways' corporate support team in Ahmedabad, providing first‑ and second‑level IT service support to employees across outstation offices. Working in shifts, the role involves installing, maintaining, and monitoring end‑user equipment while ensuring timely resolution of incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT incidents and tickets efficiently, adhering to ITIL processes.
• Install, configure, and maintain end‑user hardware and software.
• Perform proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Provide remote technical assistance and document solutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher‑level support teams.
• Prepare and share ticket status reports and analyze recurring problems for permanent fixes.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and telecom providers to ensure effective support.
• Achieve SLA targets for incident resolution.

Required profile

• Customer‑facing experience with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Excellent written and oral English; bilingual ability is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience, preferably in an IT services environment.
• Willingness to work shift hours based on business needs.
