Technician II – Maintenance & GMP Documentation

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for a Technician II to join its Global Operations team in Halol. The role focuses on maintaining parenteral process equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and supporting continuous improvement projects within a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize and sign engineering GMP documents, maintenance memos, and preventive‑maintenance checklists.
• Perform breakdown repairs and routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment used in parenteral production.
• Update history cards and PM checklists according to the scheduled maintenance plan.
• Coordinate effectively with QA, Production and other departments to resolve equipment issues.
• Handle modification activities and project work related to equipment upgrades.
• Ensure all GMP documentation is maintained in line with SOPs.
• Provide travel support as required for project or modification tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
