Electrical Maintenance Engineer – In‑Charge

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and plant electrical systems. The role focuses on minimizing machine downtime and ensuring reliable operation of all electrical assets in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, VFD/AC drives, panels, MCCs, sensors, PLCs, contactors, relays and control circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment such as extruders, mixers, pulverizers, feeders and pelletizers.
• Service plant utilities including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, vacuum pumps and EOT cranes.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules, keep accurate maintenance records and manage critical spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Follow electrical safety standards and uphold 5S housekeeping practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent ITI Electrical qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, MCC panels, sensors and control panels.
• Experience in plastic extrusion, masterbatch, compounding or similar industries is a plus.
