Technical Specialist – Systems & Support

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Specialist to maintain and support our Windows and Linux infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. The role combines system administration, automation, asset management, and procurement coordination to ensure high availability and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems on servers and desktops, applying updates, patches, and security hardening.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux), managing accounts, permissions, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines using KVM and VMware ESXi/vSphere, monitoring resources and optimizing performance.
• Install, configure, and support CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, managing repositories, pipelines, and build automation.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, tracking lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Handle procurement processes, coordinate with vendors, and work with finance to ensure timely invoicing and payments.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience managing IT material requirements and procurement processes.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux system administration, virtualization, and CI/CD tool management.
• Solid troubleshooting abilities with a good understanding of system security and networking.
