Technical Design Engineer – Industrial Systems

About the role

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Design Engineer to lead the design, development and optimisation of industrial special‑purpose engineering systems. The role works closely with production and project execution teams to deliver manufacturable, high‑quality designs for the Umbergaon plant.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, special components and application‑based engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering, fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and load calculations to validate designs.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing, and support production teams in resolving fabrication issues.
• Review site measurements, assist with installation requirements and provide technical support during commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design or special‑purpose engineering systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform FEA, load calculations and produce manufacturable design solutions.
