About the role

The Technical Delivery Manager acts as the strategic bridge between business units and IT, overseeing the planning, development, and delivery of technology solutions. This role ensures that projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations while aligning with overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams, providing technical direction and fostering innovation.
• Plan and organise application development initiatives that match business goals.
• Manage project delivery to ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion and adherence to service level agreements.
• Communicate technical and operational issues to senior leadership promptly.
• Maintain and improve service quality by enforcing standards and addressing customer concerns.
• Collaborate with business partners to define accurate technical requirements.
• Oversee staff recruitment, performance appraisal, training, and succession planning.
• Ensure technology solutions comply with architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing complex technology projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor technical leads and manage matrixed resources.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify trends, resolve quality issues, and recommend improvements.
