Tech Lead – Expert Circuit Design Engineer (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for an expert Tech Lead to design and develop analog circuits for automotive braking systems at Bosch’s Bangalore development centre. The role involves leading circuit design activities, performing simulations, and ensuring safety, reliability and cost‑effectiveness of the hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Design, modify and maintain analog circuits for automotive braking system products.
• Perform circuit calculations using Mathcad and simulations with Saber.
• Analyse impact of electronic component changes on circuit performance.
• Maintain hardware layouts and circuit modules throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Propose innovative design solutions and cost‑improvement ideas.
• Collaborate with ECU customer teams and functional groups on safety, thermal and reliability aspects.
• Conduct lab testing and measurements using CRO, multimeters, load boxes, etc.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 7‑9 years of experience in analog circuit design for automotive applications.
• Strong knowledge of power‑supply, ADC monitoring, CAN, gate drivers, motor drives, DC‑DC and boost converters.

Required skills

• Electronic circuit theory.
• Analog circuit design for power supply, ADC monitoring, CAN.
• Design of gate drivers, motor drives, DC‑DC, boost converters, LVR, MOSFET.
• Mathcad for circuit calculations.
• Saber for circuit simulations.
• Laboratory measurement equipment (CRO, multimeter, load boxes).
• Motor path design and 48 V circuit development.
