Team Leader – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Purplle is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse activities in Kannur. You will ensure smooth execution of picking, packing, sorting, inventory control and dispatch while leading a dedicated team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, sorting, dispatch and returns.
• Plan shifts, monitor attendance and allocate manpower to meet order‑processing targets.
• Track team productivity, enforce SOPs and maintain operational discipline.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to guarantee stock accuracy.
• Minimize stock loss, damage and operational errors through proactive controls.
• Prepare daily MIS reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, operations, vendors and cluster managers to ensure seamless workflow.
• Handle escalations related to operations, manpower and store discipline, especially during peak periods.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (preferred) with 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or dark‑store operations.
• Proven leadership and team‑handling abilities in a quick‑commerce or e‑commerce setting.
• Experience managing third‑party manpower vendors is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict SLAs.
