Team Leader – MNE Business Banking

About the role

The Bank is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to drive the growth of its multinational enterprise (MNE) business in Mumbai and expand relationships with MNCs across Pune. The role combines portfolio management, deal origination, and cross‑selling of a broad range of banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with existing MNC clients and actively onboard new multinational corporations.
• Develop a network of consultants, lawyers, chartered accountants, venture capitalists and private equity firms.
• Lead credit, asset and liability product strategy, ensuring optimal funding solutions for clients.
• Originate, structure and obtain approvals for complex financial deals, including treasury, debt capital markets, syndications, corporate advisory and investment banking.
• Monitor client financial performance and expand share‑of‑wallet through cross‑selling.
• Oversee escrow product processes, digitisation of transaction journeys and compliance with FEMA and other regulations.
• Evaluate credit and risk profiles, designing structured, project and acquisition financing solutions.
• Manage and mentor Relationship Managers, driving productivity and team development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate banking or financial services with a focus on MNC portfolios.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, asset and liability products.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and close large‑scale financing transactions.
• Experience building relationships with professional service firms and investors.
• Leadership experience managing a team and driving performance.
