About the role
Amazon is seeking a proactive Team Lead for its Operations team in Karnataka. In this role you will manage a shift, coordinate information flow across multiple stakeholders, and ensure seamless customer experiences and business continuity.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a shift and continuously identify opportunities to improve team performance.
- Own change‑management initiatives related to process improvements.
- Develop and use performance metrics to drive results.
- Analyze trends, make data‑backed decisions, and communicate impacts.
- Interact with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (finance, ops excellence, fulfillment centers).
- Escalate issues, track resolutions, and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Perform ad‑hoc reporting and analysis using Excel, Access, SQL or other data tools.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills and basic understanding of logistics.
- Preferred: 3 + years of relevant experience.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Access database.
- SQL for data extraction.
