Team Lead – Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive Team Lead for its Operations team in Karnataka. In this role you will manage a shift, coordinate information flow across multiple stakeholders, and ensure seamless customer experiences and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a shift and continuously identify opportunities to improve team performance.
• Own change‑management initiatives related to process improvements.
• Develop and use performance metrics to drive results.
• Analyze trends, make data‑backed decisions, and communicate impacts.
• Interact with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (finance, ops excellence, fulfillment centers).
• Escalate issues, track resolutions, and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Perform ad‑hoc reporting and analysis using Excel, Access, SQL or other data tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills and basic understanding of logistics.
• Preferred: 3 + years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Access database.
• SQL for data extraction.
