Team Lead – Airhaul & Railhaul Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead to oversee daily Airhaul and Railhaul operations, ensuring efficient route monitoring, carrier and vendor coordination, and problem resolution across a rapidly growing network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor routes and manage day‑to‑day operations for air and rail haul services.
• Conduct outreach to carriers and vendors, addressing issues promptly.
• Communicate tactically with external partners (vendors, carriers) and internal teams (delivery stations, sort centers).
• Lead process‑re‑engineering initiatives to identify and eliminate root causes of defects.
• Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring activities and ensuring service requirements are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
