About the role

The University of North West Himalayas (UNWH) in Dehradun is seeking qualified professionals for a range of teaching and non‑teaching positions. Candidates will join a multidisciplinary institution dedicated to academic excellence, research, and holistic student development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars and labs in the assigned discipline.
• Design and update curricula, assessment methods and learning resources.
• Supervise student projects, theses and internships.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings and obtain research funding.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees and accreditation activities.
• For non‑teaching roles, manage administrative processes, support services and campus operations.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications as prescribed by UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI or university regulations.
• Demonstrated teaching or administrative experience appropriate to the level applied for (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or support staff).
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is an advantage.
• Commitment to research, innovation and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Subject‑matter expertise in one of the listed disciplines (e.g., Agriculture, Law, Pharmacy, Computer Science, etc.).
• Ability to use standard academic and office software for teaching, assessment and administration.
