Tax Manager – US Business Tax Services

About the role

Deloitte India is seeking a Tax Manager to join its US Business Tax Services team. The role focuses on delivering tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for US‑based corporate, partnership, private equity, investment management, real estate, fund of funds, insurance, and regulated investment company (RIC) clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review US federal, state, and international tax returns for corporate entities, operating partnerships, and investment funds.
• Perform detailed tax research, RIC compliance testing, and financial statement provision reviews.
• Develop tax projections, accounting calculations, and advisory solutions for complex tax matters.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and supervise junior staff, providing mentorship and training.
• Coordinate with client contacts to gather information and ensure timely delivery of tax deliverables.
• Participate in Deloitte Tax LLP and sector‑specific training programs.

Required profile

• Strong interest in US tax compliance and transformation for corporate and investment clients.
• Experience in US corporate tax, partnership structures, private equity, real estate, or fund taxation.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and supervise tax consultants.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
