Tax Director

About the role

The Tax Director will lead end‑to‑end reconciliation processes, ensuring that GST General Ledgers align with statutory returns, e‑invoicing data, and purchase and sales registers. The role focuses on eliminating risk at the source and providing strategic insight into financial exposures.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile GST General Ledgers with statutory returns, e‑invoicing data, and purchase/sales registers.
• Assist in establishing robust internal controls and continuous monitoring mechanisms for GST compliance.
• Evaluate ongoing tax litigations and prepare accurate contingent liability statements for executive leadership.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, supplying required information for timely closures.
• Provide proactive tax advisory services to internal business units, cross‑functional stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
