Tax Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our advisory team. You will work on a variety of US tax engagements, preparing returns and providing client support while gaining exposure to multiple entity types.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust, and nonprofit tax returns, including supporting work papers.
• Research tax issues and consult on project-specific tax matters.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Prepare extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain the credential upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in US taxation, preferably in a public accounting environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a client‑service mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to meet deadlines and work overtime when needed.
