System Administrator – Windows/Linux & VPS Management

About the role

IdeaStack Solutions is looking for a System Administrator to join its web‑hosting team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for maintaining Windows and Linux servers, managing virtual environments and providing first‑line support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day Windows and Linux server administration tasks.
• Coordinate with telco operators and the datacenter help‑desk to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Respond to client inquiries, investigate problems and provide effective solutions.
• Gather and analyse data required for problem resolution.
• Create and configure virtual private servers (VPS) for new customers.
• Manage client virtual machine systems (VMS), including installation and configuration.
• Handle inbound client support calls and resolve tickets promptly.
• Initiate outbound calls to clients when tickets require additional clarification.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with VPS provisioning and virtual machine management.
• Ability to work with telco and datacenter teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
