System Administrator – IT Infrastructure

About the role

Azista Industries Private Limited is seeking a motivated System Administrator to join its IT Infrastructure team. You will manage enterprise server environments, ensure high availability, and strengthen security across Windows, Linux, and virtualized platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments for high availability, security, and performance.
• Perform basic Linux administration tasks such as user management, file permissions, package installation, and service management.
• Administer Active Directory, managing user accounts, security groups, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Monitor server performance and proactively resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures to protect data and ensure business continuity.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Microsoft Hyper‑V), including VM provisioning and maintenance.
• Plan and implement OS updates, security patches, and infrastructure upgrades while maintaining stability.
• Troubleshoot server, hardware, software, storage, and network issues.
• Configure and maintain core network services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing).
• Support firewall administration and implement security best practices using FortiGate or equivalent solutions.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange services to ensure reliable email and collaboration platforms.
• Provide technical support to end users and resolve infrastructure incidents within agreed service levels.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
