System Administrator – Cloud Operations (Linux & AWS)

About the role

This position is for a System Administrator focused on Cloud Operations, working with Linux and AWS production environments in Pune. The role involves real‑time incident handling, performance troubleshooting, and automation to keep critical services stable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Linux troubleshooting (CPU, memory, disk, network, boot issues) in production.
• Handle real‑time production incidents, resolve issues, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Analyze logs and system metrics using tools like top, vmstat, iostat, and journalctl.
• Support datacenter and virtualization operations (hardware, VMware, patching, recovery).
• Develop automation scripts in Bash/Python and create runbooks for recurring problems.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud operations.
• Proven track record in production support, incident management, and RCA ownership.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and OS‑level troubleshooting.
• Experience scripting automation with Bash or Python.
