About the role
The Swimming Pool Helper will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all pool users. Working on‑site at our school facilities, you will monitor activities, respond to emergencies, and support swimming education.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules.
- Provide rescue and first‑aid support in emergencies.
- Maintain pool cleanliness and safety equipment.
- Conduct swimming lessons and safety drills.
Required profile
- Lifeguard certification and relevant experience, preferably in a school or recreational setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and adhering to school policies.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
Required skills
- Lifeguard certification
- First aid certification (including CPR)
- Swimming instruction techniques
