Supply Chain Executive

About the role

Join LG Soft India as a Supply Chain Executive responsible for overseeing inventory management across the organization. You will ensure accurate record‑keeping, verify shipments, and coordinate asset distribution while maintaining compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update inventory tracking systems, asset registers and related records.
• Verify incoming shipments for quantity, condition and proper documentation.
• Prepare and manage inventory documentation such as receipts, issue notes and stock movement records.
• Track asset allocation to departments or users and obtain acknowledgment records.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system data.
• Identify, report and help resolve discrepancies, shortages or damages.
• Enter inventory transactions accurately into the system and generate reports using MS Excel or similar tools.
• Support audit activities by providing organized digital and physical inventory records.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, finance and other internal teams regarding inventory matters.
• Communicate stock availability and related issues effectively to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Basic understanding of inventory tracking systems and asset management.
• Experience in inventory management or store operations is a plus.
• Good knowledge of shipment verification and inventory documentation handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Organised, process‑oriented and able to manage multiple inventory tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel or comparable inventory tracking tools.
