About the role
We are seeking a reliable Substitute Bus Driver to operate school buses for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students on assigned routes and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the assigned school bus according to the daily schedule and route plan.
- Board and disembark students safely, verifying attendance as required.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus at all times.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Class Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements and proof of insurability.
- School Bus Driver’s Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- DL‑51 endorsement or other endorsements appropriate to the vehicle assigned.
