Structural Design Engineer – Tier 2

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer (Tier 2) to lead the analysis, design and detailing of structural elements for high‑rise and tall building projects. The role involves managing projects from the preliminary stage through to construction, ensuring safe and code‑compliant solutions that integrate with architectural concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design and detailing of columns, beams, slabs and foundations for high‑rise structures.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, drawings and specifications in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, service consultants and site teams to achieve agreed‑upon safe designs.
• Investigate structural failures or damages on‑site and produce assessment reports.
• Verify and certify design calculations, select appropriate construction materials and approve material specifications.
• Monitor preparation of civil‑structural BOQs and technical deliverables, and inspect construction work as needed.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, regulations and project standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience with high‑rise or tall building projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes and material specifications.
