Strategic Planning & Strategy Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee to support our Planning & Strategy function. The role will assist senior leaders in shaping short‑term and long‑term business plans, conducting market analysis, and tracking performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align short‑term and long‑term business strategies with company objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis.
• Support the annual operating plan, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Track key performance indicators and prepare management dashboards and reports.
• Identify growth opportunities, cost‑optimization areas, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to gather data and insights.
• Prepare presentations and strategic recommendations for leadership reviews.
• Monitor execution of strategic initiatives and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 2–8 years of experience in strategy, business planning, consulting, FP&A or corporate planning.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analysis tools and business‑planning frameworks.
