About the role
We are looking for a diligent Stores Officer to manage the receipt, storage and issue of raw materials, ensuring timely availability and compliance with company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive all materials against purchase orders and verify compliance with specifications and laboratory testing.
- Issue materials according to approved indents and maintain accurate gate‑pass registers for items sent for repair or maintenance.
- Enter all transactions promptly and accurately into the inventory management system.
- Monitor stock levels, maintain minimum quantities of critical items and trigger re‑orders when reorder points are reached.
- Identify one area for process improvement each period and implement the change.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to subordinates and identify relevant training programs for personal development.
Required profile
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and documentation.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and staff development.
