Storekeeper – Staff Cafe (Lonavala)

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage the inventory for the staff café at our Lonavala hotel, ensuring that all supplies are received, stored, and issued efficiently to support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and systematic storage of items.
• Issue materials to hotel departments based on approved requisitions.
• Keep accurate stock records, inventory registers, and related documentation.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.
• Monitor expiry dates, damages, and slow‑moving items, applying FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Coordinate with Purchase, F&B, Kitchen, and Accounts teams.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper in the hotel or hospitality sector.
• Good communication, coordination, and record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
