Store Manager – Materials & Inventory Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Store Manager to oversee the storage, preservation and distribution of critical project supplies. The role ensures material longevity, compliance with OEM guidelines and supports project operations through efficient warehouse management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage material storage, shelf‑life monitoring and preservation practices for project supplies.
• Control inventory using perpetual inventory methods and periodic stock‑taking.
• Oversee gate entry processes, including receipt, inspection, rejection and documentation of incoming materials.
• Handle supplier debit/credit notes, bill processing, e‑way bills, RGP/NRGP procedures and ensure audit compliance.
• Plan and develop warehouse infrastructure to meet project and operational needs.
• Conduct detailed inspections of received items, safety and quality reviews, and manage material unloading and proper storage.
• Execute SAP transactions such as GPN posting, material issuance, transfer postings and consumption recording.
• Maintain fuel management operations including tanker receipt, quality checks, measurement, decantation, accounting and reconciliation per Gazette notifications.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of power plant components, project materials and their operational requirements.
• Experience with gate entry systems, material inspection and rejection processes.
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with internal and external audits and liaise with legal/government authorities.
• Excellent understanding of space utilization, spare handling and location mapping.
