Store Designer – Retail Layout & 3D Visualization

About the role

Frido is seeking a skilled Store Designer to create detailed retail GFC drawings and adapt standard store designs for new locations. The role combines AutoCAD drafting with 3D visualisation to ensure designs meet site conditions and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Site Design Requirements (SDR) reviews for new stores.
• Prepare and modify AutoCAD 2D drawings: store layouts, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, furniture and fixture layouts, signage details, and sections.
• Produce 3D visualisations using 3ds Max (or similar) for mall approvals.
• Adapt Frido’s standard store designs to specific site conditions based on SDRs and internal briefs.
• Extract and validate site measurements from surveys and on‑ground inputs.
• Coordinate with internal design, project teams, external consultants, vendors, contractors and mall authorities.
• Maintain accurate, build‑ready drawings with proper version control and documentation.
• Support project execution by providing clarifications and updated drawings as needed.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3–6 years of experience as a designer, preferably in retail or commercial interiors.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
• Experience with 3D visualisation tools such as 3ds Max, V‑Ray, SketchUp, or similar software.
