Signage & Wayfinding Designer – Lead Projects

About the role

This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful wayfinding and signage projects that enhance user experiences within built environments. You will blend creativity, problem‑solving, and collaboration to develop user‑centric navigation solutions and compelling presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualisation, design development and implementation of wayfinding projects from inception to completion.
• Develop creative direction and execution for signage, placemaking and environmental graphics, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Create narratives and presentations that effectively communicate strategy and design proposals.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers and other stakeholders to propose integrated wayfinding solutions.
• Mentor and guide the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Manage project schedules, resources and workflow to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality deliverables.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices, incorporating relevant advancements into projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, urban design, graphic design or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in wayfinding design, signage and environmental graphics across diverse typologies.
• Robust design portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of complex wayfinding projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of local regulations, codes and standards governing wayfinding and architecture projects in the Middle East.
