Steward – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

Anchaviyo Resort is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Steward to support its daily food and beverage operations. The role involves preparing dining areas, polishing cutlery and glassware, and ensuring tables meet the resort’s high standards before service.

Key responsibilities

• Set up dining spaces, arrange tableware and ensure proper presentation.
• Polish and organize cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
• Assist servers during meal periods, clear tables efficiently and reset for the next service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest areas and back‑of‑house stations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Handle basic guest requests professionally and report any service issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures and participate in ongoing training.
• Support special events and experiential dining setups across the property.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a courteous, professional approach.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with kitchen, service teams, and guests.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in hotels, resorts or restaurants is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic spoken proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.

Required skills

• Food & beverage knowledge, including basic table settings and service standards.
• Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Food service skills such as clearing, resetting, and maintaining organized service areas.
• Ability to participate in training related to hospitality standards and safety protocols.
