Steward – Food & Beverage Service

About the role
The Steward ensures a clean, welcoming dining environment and supports smooth service operations in a restaurant setting. You will interact directly with guests, maintain table settings, and assist the bar and service teams throughout busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and set tables, including seasonal accompaniments.
- Welcome guests, seat them, serve water and deliver menus.
- Maintain cleanliness of menus and guest service items.
- Upsell food and beverage items and maximise table turnover during peak hours.
- Prepare drinks at the bar as required.
- Take inventory of crockery and cutlery.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management.
- 1‑2 years of experience in food and beverage service.
- Pre‑opening restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Meets the legal age limit for serving alcohol in Delhi.
- Friendly, polite and courteous demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
