Steel Welding Expert – Stainless Steel Kitchen Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Steel Welding Expert to join our manufacturing team in Kochi. The successful candidate will perform precision welding and fabrication of stainless‑steel kitchen equipment for commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and fabrication sketches.
• Measure, cut and prepare stainless‑steel components using appropriate tools.
• Execute high‑quality Arc, TIG and MIG welds according to approved procedures.
• Assemble welded components into finished kitchen equipment and structures.
• Inspect welds for strength, appearance and compliance with food‑grade standards.
• Perform repairs and re‑work as needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and workshop tools, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve fabrication processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience in stainless‑steel fabrication for commercial or industrial applications.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented workshop environment.
