State Head – Wires & Cables (Power Division)

About the role

Sturlite Voltedge Private Limited is launching a new Power Division focused on wires, cables and switchgear. The State Head will own the P&L for the assigned state, building the business from scratch while leveraging the company’s extensive lighting dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Enter the market with zero legacy baggage and establish a profitable sales operation.
• Leverage the existing 16,000+ lighting partners to open distributor and retailer conversations.
• Lead a team of 46 Area Sales Managers and 1,828 Territory Sales Executives across the state.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Represent Sturlite’s ISI‑marked, Class 5 copper products against major competitors.
• Travel 12‑15 days per month to manage key accounts and monitor field activities.

Required profile

• Senior sales leadership experience, preferably in electrical products, wires & cables or related sectors.
• Proven P&L ownership and ability to build a sales organization.
• Strong network within the electrical distribution channel.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.
