Staff Platform Manager – Loyalty & Incentives Platform Lead

About the role

Airbnb’s Payments organization is building a world‑class commerce platform that powers transactions in over 220 countries. As the Staff Platform Manager for the Loyalty & Incentives domain, you will define the vision and roadmap for a reusable platform that enables internal teams and external partners to launch and manage loyalty, membership and gift‑card programs at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Loyalty & Incentives platform strategy, roadmap and operating model, supporting multiple loyalty currencies (fiat, points, cryptocurrency, digital assets).
• Lead the gift‑card capability strategy, aligning business, partnership and engineering plans to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
• Monitor B2B2C platform performance for loyalty campaigns and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise outcomes.
• Drive due‑diligence and integration strategies for new loyalty and membership partners, defining reusable technical and operational patterns.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Compliance, Operations, Data and marketplace teams to resolve trade‑offs and scale foundational platform capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading platform product initiatives in a large‑scale, consumer‑facing environment.
• Deep understanding of loyalty, membership and incentive program design, preferably B2B2C.
• Strong track record of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and delivering complex roadmaps.
• Ability to think strategically while executing on detailed technical integration plans.
