Staff Nurse – Senior Citizen Care

About the role

Ananya's Nana Nani Homes is looking for a compassionate Staff Nurse to provide high‑quality nursing care to senior citizens in a residential care setting. The role involves monitoring health, administering medication, and supporting the overall well‑being of elderly residents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to senior residents.
• Monitor and record vital signs and health status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Assist residents with daily healthcare and personal care needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the medical team.
• Ensure infection control, hygiene, and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families.

Required profile

• GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid Nursing Council registration (preferred).
• 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospital, elder‑care, or similar settings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts if required.
