Staff Nurse – Dialysis

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our dialysis unit. The role involves delivering safe and effective haemodialysis treatments while supporting patients throughout their care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of dialysis procedures according to physician prescription.
• Assess patients' hemodynamic status, dialysis indication, vascular access, and comorbidities before treatment.
• Monitor dialysis sessions, manage vascular access, ensure adequate flow, and handle complications.
• Communicate patient status changes to the nephrologist and recommend treatment adjustments.
• Maintain and supervise dialyzer reprocessing and disinfect haemodialysis machines.
• Record patient data accurately for medical auditing.
• Check vital signs, educate patients about their disease and treatment, and answer questions.
• Oversee the entire dialysis process, ensure correct medication administration, and evaluate patient reactions.
• Support the dialysis team in delivering respectful, high‑quality care.
