Sr. HR Specialist

About the role

The Sr. HR Specialist supports Cubic's Human Resources department by handling transactional HR activities across multiple APAC locations. Working under close supervision, the role ensures accurate employee data management, compliance with local employment laws, and efficient processing of HR transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex employee data changes such as hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
• Maintain compliance with employment contracts, working hours, and leave policies in various APAC countries.
• Collaborate with HR business partners and payroll to resolve cases promptly.
• Oversee timely processing of HR transactions and ensure adherence to policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with HR SAP invoicing and manage employee status change notices.
• Track HR records, identify process‑optimization opportunities, and leverage Workday HCM and other tools for automation.
• Ensure accuracy of HR/Payroll information systems and propose workflow improvements.
• Complete special projects and miscellaneous HR activities as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum four (4) years of related HR operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using an HRIS system; Workday preferred.
• College degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential personnel information and prioritize tasks effectively.
