About the role

The Specialty Care Advisor will promote Bristol Myers Squibb’s oncology portfolio across a defined territory, building relationships with key medical professionals and institutions. This role combines scientific knowledge with sales expertise to increase product awareness and drive adoption of immuno‑oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and assess sales potential of all customers within the territory.
  • Promote the oncology product range to achieve planned sales objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local medical organisations, universities, and hospital departments.
  • Organise meetings, seminars, and scientific sessions with oncologists.
  • Manage hospital formulary inclusion processes.
  • Maintain accurate territory records, time management, and resource utilization.
  • Report safety information and adverse events according to BMS SOPs.

Required profile

  • Pharmacy or Science graduate.
  • 5‑8 years of oncology sales experience with a consistent sales track record.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
  • Experience working with thought leaders, corporate hospitals, and government accounts.
