About the role
The Specialty Care Advisor will promote Bristol Myers Squibb’s oncology portfolio across a defined territory, building relationships with key medical professionals and institutions. This role combines scientific knowledge with sales expertise to increase product awareness and drive adoption of immuno‑oncology therapies.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and assess sales potential of all customers within the territory.
- Promote the oncology product range to achieve planned sales objectives.
- Monitor and analyse new business opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local medical organisations, universities, and hospital departments.
- Organise meetings, seminars, and scientific sessions with oncologists.
- Manage hospital formulary inclusion processes.
- Maintain accurate territory records, time management, and resource utilization.
- Report safety information and adverse events according to BMS SOPs.
Required profile
- Pharmacy or Science graduate.
- 5‑8 years of oncology sales experience with a consistent sales track record.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Experience working with thought leaders, corporate hospitals, and government accounts.
