Specialist Recruiter – Early-in-Profession

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Specialist Recruiter to join its Early-in-Profession team. In this role you will help shape early‑career talent pathways, support inclusive hiring practices, and contribute to high‑impact AI, engineering and programme delivery initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate candidate documentation and status in compliance with internal policies and regulations such as GDPR and Office of Federal Compliance Programs.
• Capture and analyse recruiting data to generate insights that inform talent acquisition strategy.
• Interpret and apply staffing policies, educating stakeholders on processes and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Synthesise external market data to provide channel insights and develop sourcing strategies aligned with hiring plans.
• Use data‑driven approaches to influence hiring managers, aligning talent acquisition tactics with business needs such as time‑to‑hire, location and budget.
• Consult business units on talent needs, promoting diverse and non‑traditional candidate pools.
• Design multi‑channel sourcing strategies to attract differentiated talent for emerging and competitive roles.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably within technology or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and ability to apply staffing policies throughout the hiring lifecycle.
• Analytical mindset with experience using recruiting platforms to capture data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to educate and influence hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret market trends and develop sourcing strategies that address long‑term business needs.
