Specialist Manager, Physical Security (Pune)

About the role

The Specialist Manager – Physical Security leads Deloitte’s on‑site security operations in Pune. You will coordinate guard services, handle escalations, and ensure compliance with Deloitte’s security policies while supporting business continuity and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the security vendor for guard selection, training, and supervision.
• Act as first‑level escalation point for internal security complaints and conduct investigations.
• Plan and execute site evacuation drills, surprise checks, and floor‑warden trainings.
• Conduct internal audits, security vulnerability tests, and periodic record reviews.
• Provide security briefings to clients, contractors, visitors, and travel emergencies.
• Maintain liaison with developer security teams, government authorities, and external security forums.
• Drive vendor compliance with statutory audits and monitor performance via dashboards.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline; security certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years of progressive experience in security management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of emergency response planning, crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Ability to assess risk, develop mitigation strategies, and work independently.
