Specialist IT Infrastructure & Security

About the role

The Specialist IT Infrastructure & Security is a hands‑on, mid‑level individual contributor responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, security and reliability of the organization’s server, network, cloud, virtualization and endpoint estate. You will act as a first‑responder for incidents and ensure ISMS‑aligned operating practices across a wide range of technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain core infrastructure components – servers, storage, virtualization, LAN/WAN/VLAN, routing, firewalls and Wi‑Fi.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including patching, hardening, account management and capacity tracking.
• Manage network and perimeter security devices such as firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAC and web/email gateways.
• Handle Identity & Access Management – Active Directory, Azure AD, group policies, RBAC and MFA workflows.
• Execute backups, restoration drills and disaster‑recovery rehearsals, maintaining runbooks and RPO/RTO evidence.
• Provision and secure cloud workloads on AWS and/or Azure, monitoring costs and applying security baselines.
• Maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and endpoint security stacks (EDR, antivirus, encryption).
• Respond to L2/L3 infrastructure incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document outcomes within ITIL SLAs.
• Support VAPT cycles, coordinate scans, remediate findings and track evidence.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with solid experience in IT infrastructure and security operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/ISMS audit requirements and ITIL processes.
