Specialist 3 – Climate & Sustainability Strategy (Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Specialist 3 to join its Climate & Sustainability Strategy practice in Mumbai. The role will support clients in designing and implementing decarbonisation pathways, ESG reporting, and sustainable business models across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) and carbon‑reduction strategies for clients.
• Advise on decarbonisation technologies, circular business models and carbon‑market participation.
• Lead project teams, manage stakeholder relationships and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with PwC’s ESG Platform to integrate strategy, reporting, deals and governance services.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership and business development within the sustainability ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of GHG accounting, decarbonisation and net‑zero strategies.
• Practical experience delivering GHG reduction projects in sectors such as TMT, automotive, industrials or consumer products.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex client engagements.
• Established network within the sustainability ecosystem.
• Ambition to become a leader in ESG and sustainability transformation.
