Spa Receptionist – Front Desk

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa. You will manage reservations, welcome guests, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule services for individuals and groups using the spa reservation system.
• Call guests to confirm appointments and answer questions about services.
• Update reservations and cancellations throughout the day and inform providers of changes.
• Check‑in guests, verify identities, and provide a brief orientation.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services.
• Process guest payments, handle cash tips, and balance receipts with Accounting.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa reservation software.
• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale operations.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
