Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to lead the procurement of subcontracted components and services, ensuring optimal price, quality, and delivery performance. The role supports the Commercial Operations team and aligns purchasing activities with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Just‑In‑Time principles for material supply across facility projects.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximize profit and secure reliable component supply.
• Assist service centers during quotation stages to deliver competitive offers.
• Monitor order status and ensure on‑time delivery from external suppliers and intercompany sources.
• Identify and resolve import‑related issues and coordinate contractual deliveries.
• Establish supply agreements with key suppliers for preferential pricing and delivery.
• Review and manage stock levels to maintain optimal on‑site inventory.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant purchasing or sourcing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong understanding of purchasing areas such as negotiations, supplier evaluation, supplier quality, and logistics.
• Knowledge of market requirements and global strategic negotiation.
