Sourcing Business Partner - Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Business Partner to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a range of industrial categories, including castings, forgings, fabricated components, hydraulics, gearboxes and motors. The role will work closely with product, engineering, quality and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and strategic plans at the product level.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, conduct spend analysis, benchmarking and should‑cost modeling.
• Source, evaluate, qualify and onboard global suppliers based on cost, quality, risk and performance.
• Define strategic supplier segmentation and manage supplier relationships using KPIs.
• Lead negotiations for long‑term agreements, pricing models and volume commitments.
• Collaborate with engineering to run value‑engineering workshops and support new product introductions.
• Monitor market trends, commodity price movements and mitigate supply‑chain risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in mineral processing equipment or industrial technology.
• Strong analytical ability and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a global, matrixed organization.
